Carry's English Classroom is a website that provides free on-line English instruction. This website also offers lesson plans and software information for learning and teaching English.

There are seven different classrooms in this website : Basic Classroom, Children's Classroom, Conversation classroom, Grammar classroom, American Slang/Colloquialism Classroom, Common English Errors Classroom and Teachers' Classroom.

All of the classrooms, except for the American Slang/Colloquialism Classroom, Common English Errors Classroom and Teachers' Classroom, include an exercise page in addition to the lesson page.

The basic classroom will remain constant, while the other six classrooms will change monthly.

 

 

1. The Basic Classroom demonstrates the English alphabets (A~ Z ).

2. The Children's Classroom offers some basic and simple vocabulary. All the vocabulary will be learned in units. For example, the first unit is "Fruit". There will also be linkd to some interesting reading sites for children.

3. The Conversation Classroom offers lessons in English conversation. The first unit is "Exchange Greeting".

4. The Grammar Classroom offers a different grammar lesson every month. The first unit is "Sentence (1)". Links to related sites will be provided.

5. The American Slang/Colloquialism Classroom offers two American slangs/colloquialisms every month.

6. The Common English Errors Classroom offers two common English errors every month.

7. The Teachers' Classroom offers teachers or parents ideas on teaching English. Links to other lesson plan sites will be offered. Since the 20th and 21st century are the high technological century, language learning from the computer software is essential and helpful. This classroom will also introduce different computer software which can benefit English learning.
